BDIH_LogoBDIH_Logo BDIH Standard for certified natural cosmetics: The association „Bundesverband Deutscher Industrie- und Handelsunternehmen für Arzneimittel, Reformwaren, Nahrungsergänzungsmittel und Körperpflegemittel“ (BDIH) with its head office in Mannheim was one of the first associations which saw the need to create transparency for the consumer in the jungle of „natural“, „plant-based“ and „organic” cosmetic products. Many renowned manufacturers have gathered under this roof and have set uniform standards.
The BDIH certification label for controlled natural cosmetics guarantees consumers that the certified product has been manufactured exclusively from materials that meet the strict requirements of the „BDIH standard“. Independent control institutions examine the registered organic cosmetic products concerning ingredients and compositions.

Only products that fulfil the strict criteria may use the BDIH certification label for controlled natural cosmetics. We have joined this international standard to enable you to quickly see: You will find genuine natural cosmetics inside Inkarna® products!

IONC-COSMOS NATURAL_SWTo give clear guidance to consumers on an international scale, the BDIH has developed a unified logo with international standard in collaboration with European natural cosmetics federations:

Our products proudly bear this seal.

FSC_LogoOur packaging materials and flyers are made by manufacturers that are certified according to the FSC guidelines.

FSC® means „Forest Stewardship Council®“ and describes an international certification system for sustainable forest management. FSC has developed 10 globally applicable principles that guarantee that wood and paper products come from sustained forestry and not destructive exploitation. The FSC-standard requires that the ecological functions of a forest have to be maintained, protects animals and plants that are threatened with extinction and also protects the rights of indigenous people and workers.

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) supports the work of FSC and advises consumers to pay attention to the FSC-certification when buying paper or wood products. It may not be perfect yet, but the best available on the international market at the moment.
